Text Box: Workers of the Faith   Text:  Philippians 4:2-3 Thesis:  Working for God is exciting and rewarding both now and forever.   * * *    I.  The Apostle Paul pleads for peace and unity in the Church.                    A.  Peace is to be _________________ in the Church.                                 1.  The Church is comprised of the ________________ of God.        “yet to all who receive him...he gave the right to become the children of God.”  John 1:12                    B.  God desires ________________ in the Church not uniformity.                                 1.  Sometimes in our attempt to create uniformity we destroy unity.        II.  The Apostle Paul is ________________ a “loyal yoke-fellow,” to “help” and        “contend” in the cause of the Gospel.  (vs 3)                    A.  “What on earth are you doing for Heaven’s sake?”                                 1.  God calls us to use the gifts he has given us to do “works of service so that                                  the body of Christ will be built up.”  (see Ephesians 4:11-14)                                            a.  ________________ needs to be doing their part to establish unity in                                             the body of Christ.                  B.  God is looking for “Spiritual Workers.”      III.  The Apostle Paul reminds the Christian that God’s workers have their          _________________ in the “Book of Life.”  (vs 3c)                    A.  God is aware of your hard work.
