Can you imagine life without Jesus and his _______________?      A.  The Angel revealed to the Shepherds God’s __________ in making his              world extraordinary.            1.  Because of Jesus we do not need to be “afraid”.                 The Angel said, “Do not be afraid” (vs. 10a)    There is no fear in love.  But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.   The one who fears is not made perfect in love.  (I John 4:18)    If God is for us, who can be against us?  He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all –how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?  (Romans 8:31b-32)    He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For by him all things were created:  things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.  (Colossians 1:15-17)            2.  Because of Jesus we have “good news” of _______________ joy that              will be for all people”  (vs. 10b)               a.  Jesus was called by the Angel “a Savior, Christ (Messiah) and the                    _____________”.   The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that     you may have life, and have it  to the full.  (John 10:10)            3.  Because of Jesus we can be ________________ from our sins.              For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  (Romans 3:23)                  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in               Christ Jesus our Lord.   (Romans 6:23)
