Action Statement:  “In life all things must be done in time, or they will not be done at all.”   William Barclay    I.  Rest in the sovereignty of God.              The definition of sovereignty as expressed in scripture is the following:  “God‘s kingly, supreme rule and legal authority of the entire universe.  God’s sovereignty is expressed, exercised and displayed in the divine plan for the working out of our salvation.”              Pocket Dictionary of Theological Terms                A.  God _________________ all things. 1.  God knows the number of our days, the number of hairs on our head, the time  table of the earth and even the great travail the entire earth is in. “We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.”  Romans 8:22 B.  God wants us to ________________ in his sovereignty to the degree where we can find true rest in  him.
