Text Box:   Things to Know About Christ and His Church   Text:       Eph. 4:1-16 Thesis:  God has a plan and design for the look and function of the Church    I.  Know in the Church there is a place for __________.              A.  Everyone is ______________________ to come and worship here.              B.  Our goal is that everyone will deepen their relationship with Jesus              Christ (vs. 15)              C.  “The ______________ of the Church in the world is to continue the              redemptive work of Christ in the power of the Spirit through holy living,              evangelism, discipleship and service.”              Nazarene Church Manual 1.  (See Mountain View Church Mission Statement) 2.  At Mountain View you can experience the love of the family of God.    II.  Know the Pastoral staff loves and cares for you but we are not      ______________________.              A.  We ____________ on the power of God just like you.                           1.  We have not been granted more than 24 hours in a day or                           more than 7 days in a week.                           2.  We are not omniscient (all-knowing).  We do not                                        ___________________know that you are sick, are going to have                           surgery, are in the hospital, have lost your job, having                                     problems in your marriage or having spiritual problems.              B.  We are called “to __________________ God’s people for works of              service.”  (vs. 12)    III.  Know that in order for there to be unity in the Church ____________ must do their part.
