God gave mankind dominion over the earth and all living creatures. A. “Man was made in God’s image” (vs 27) 1. Humans are spiritual beings capable of immortality. (vs 26 a & b) 2. Humans are moral beings made in God’s likeness. 3. Humans are intellectual beings with the capacity for reason and ruler-ship. B. The Christian needs to promote a Biblical balance approach in environmental issues. C. Mankind was never created to be God. II. Satan continually attempts to distort God’s divine plan. (Romans 1: 18-24) A. Ungodly people seek to make nature their god. B. Ungodly people seek to put nature above the well being of mankind. |
