THESIS: Jesus’ identity is found in His NAME!

A. “God with us.”

1. Humanism taught in the 60’s

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through me.

A. God identifies Himself at the burning bush.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the nam

that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess

that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

A. In regard to Jesus…his name means everything!

B. There’s POWER in his name.

C. Salvation is in his name:

1. Examples:

· “Cup of water in my name”

· “Ask in my name”

· Satan flees at the name of Jesus

· “There’s no other name under heaven in

which you can be saved”
