The
Refuge

In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains;
it will be raised above the hills, and people will stream to it.  Many nations will come and say, “come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of God of Jacob.”           Micah 4:1-2

Our church can be Your home.

 “The Mountain of the Lord”

TEXT:  Micah 4:1

THESIS:  The church is the mountain of the Lord’s temple where God can be found.

...........................................................…………………………………………………………….

I.  “In the last days”  (vs 1a)

Jesus Christ’s first coming began the period of “The Last Days”

The “season” of Jesus Christ’s second coming appears to be here.

This is a day of hope and redemption.

II.  “The mountain of the Lord’s Temple will be established”
(vs 1b)

The “establishment” is permanent.

“The gates of hell will not prevail against the church.”
Jesus

The church is the body of Christ.

III.  “As chief among mountains it will be raised above the hills. (vs 1c)

The church is meant to be the hub of society.

The Christian faith is set above all other religions.

IV.  “and peoples will stream to it”  (vs 1d)

The alive church will be a growing church.

…and about 3,000 were added to their number that day.
Acts 2:41

And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:47
