Thesis: Disciples are spirit-filled believers able to feed themselves and reproduce themselves.

Action Step: Jesus said, “Go and make disciples.”

I. Disciples of Christ are spirit-filled believers.

A. Jesus gave the “Great Commission” to spirit-filled believers.

1. “You must be born again.” (John 3:3)

2. “May God Himself sanctify you through and through. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

II. Disciples of Christ are self-feeding.

A. The mature Christian has learned to feed themselves. (Hebrews 5:11-14)

1. There are Christians who refuse to grow in knowledge.

2. There are Christians who refuse to grow up in behavior.

3. “By this time you should be teachers.” (vs 12)

III. Disciples of Christ are self-reproducing.

A. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples.”

B. Jesus said, “Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

C. Jesus said, “Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
