The
Refuge

In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains;
it will be raised above the hills, and people will stream to it.  Many nations will come and say, “come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of God of Jacob.”           Micah 4:1-2

Our church can be Your home.

The Unborn Baby is a Baby

Text: Luke 1:39-45

Thesis: The Word of God recognizes the unborn Jesus and the unborn John the Baptist as “babies” not a fetus.

I. God in his Word address the unborn Jesus and the unborn John the Baptist as a “baby” and a “child”. (vs. 41-44)

            A. The Psalmist led by the Holy Spirit proclaimed that God knew him in his unborn state. (Psalms 139)

            B. There is a danger in reducing the unborn baby to a mere collection of body parts.

                        1. It violates the Word.

                        2. It devalues human life.

II. The unborn baby is our world’s future leaders.

            A. God implemented a Salvation plan in the unborn baby Jesus Christ.

            B. God has a plan for every human and it begins in the womb.

Jeremiah 29:11 states, for I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

                        1. How many plans of God have we destroyed because we aborted the unborn baby? (Maybe the cure for cancer)

*Since 1973 there have been more than 43 million abortions.

*Since annual number of abortions has doubled since Roe vs. Wade, from 744,600 to 1,313,300 for 2000.

*For every 1000 live births, there are 306 abortions.

*There are more than 140,000 second and third trimester abortions each year.

III. Jesus is God’s Salvation Plan that takes away the sins of the world.

            A. God never gave mankind the right to take innocent life.

                        1. It is a sin to kill the innocent.

            B. God will forgive the sin of all who ask.

1st John 1:9 states, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness
