TEXT: Psalms 37:1-8
THESIS: The entrance into the cycle of victorious living is an act of the will called commitment.

I. Commitment is the entrance into the cycle of victorious living.
A. Commitment is not an emotional experience.

B. Commitment is an act of the will.
C. Commitment is the giving of yourself and what you have to God, palms down.

D. Commitment is both initial and continuous.
1. The temptation to fret may return. We must continuously commit it to God.
“Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
2. Jesus is out Great Advocate!
E. Commitment demands discipline and responsibilities “To let go and let God”
1. When you love someone it’s hard to let go and let God deal with them.
“Remain in Me and I will remain in you.” John 15:4
