I. Wisdom is Knowledge plus Grace.

A. Wisdom is not an accumulation of knowledge without God’s Grace.

“Wisdom is not philosophic speculations and intellectual knowledge.” William Barclay

II. Wisdom is knowing the Big Picture of Life as revealed by God’s

Word.

A. A person reveals that he is wise when he complies with God’s outline for his life and by not rebelling against it.

1. We are born in sin. (Romans 3:23)

2. Jesus brings total forgiveness and relationship with God. (Romans 6:23)

III. Wisdom is divinely given to meet the Practical Needs of Life.

A. Wisdom is given to leaders.

1. There is a leadership style to have in raising young children and older children.

2. There is a leadership style in the work force.

B. Wisdom is granted to aid in making right decisions.

C. God grants wisdom in relationships.

1. Jesus is Wisdom Personified!
