THE FUTURE LOOKS GOOD

...because God is in it!

TEXT: Romans 8 28-39

THESIS: God has our future in mind.

I. “For we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him...” (vs 28)

A. God is able to take the bad things that happen to us and bring about good.

B. God’s only request is that we love Him and allow His purpose to be worked out in our lives.

C. God’s purpose is for us to accept His Son and conform to His likeness. (vs 29)

II. In response to this we say, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (vs 31)

A. God is so much for us that “He gave His own Son to die for us all.” (vs. 32)

B. God “graciously gives us all things” (vs 32b)

III. “For I am convinced...neither the present nor the future...will be able to separate us from the love of

God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (vs 38)

A. God will always love you, no matter what comes your way.

B. We are destined to be “more than conquerors” (vs 37)
