II.  Holiness of heart produces purity.

 

A.     God wants to purge the Christian’s mind of filth. (vs. 20)

 

1.        The Apostle Paul states in 2 Peter 3: 1, “Dear friends, this is now the second letter to you.  I have written both of them to you as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.”

 

III.  Holiness of heart produces humility.

 

A.     Humbly accept that God’s Word lives in you and you are God’s.

 

B.       Humbly accept God’s purpose for your life and stop following the ways of the world.
